My team and I pitched this project to the United Nations Population Fund for the 2023 FMG summit which is focused on the imperative task of eradicating Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) by 2030. The summit necessitated unified efforts from nations grappling with this deeply entrenched issue, the summit symbolised the unity of affected nations and advocates for collective action to safeguard the well-being of millions of at-risk young girls and women.

The client asked that we emphasise the link between education on FGM and empowered minds capable of effecting change, the summit aimed to instill hope and motivation thus fostering a collective determination to bring an end to this harmful practice.
